Make yourself at home in Hondius apartment

Hot water; comfortable huge bed in large room with your own clean mini kitchen; Tasty coffee and perfect morning croissants; Free bike renting ; Printer, which you can use whenever you need!!!

In our room we had no window, however We’d prepare to have it. Also, on second day of our stay electric cooker didn’t work.

Perfect hotel with nice atmosphere

I think this hotel is a good variant for living. Very comfortable bed and sofas, all flats soooo clean! There are 2 toilets and 2 showers. This rooms are clean too. I was shocked about it There is all for comfortable life in Amsterdam. Staff is friendly and kind. And there is one little “owner” - cute cat Fiko he is so nice and active. We are like him :) So, Hondius - perfect place for the great and comfortable living.

What would you highlight about Hondius

Large rooms with good facilities.

Large rooms with good facilities. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and had shampoo/shower gel etc and spare towels. One night we were a bit cold so we messaged and were replied to nearly instantly and given extra heaters which made it toasty warm. The owner is lovely and helpful, the bikes are great and there was a kitten as well!!

What would you highlight about Hondius

A good budget option if you don't mind a 90s bedsit/hospital accommodation feel.

The room was spacious and had a sofa. It was clean with high ceilings a wardrobe, kettle, and cooking hob. Nicely located meant just a 15 min journey into the centre with food shops and a cafe nearby.

The room was dingy, and the furniture was old. The kitchen sink had washing up liquid but no sponges/cloths to do the washing with. The bed linens were clean but old and worn. At night the room wasn't completely dark due to the fire exit sign being illuminated in green at all times. The breakfast station/seating area was right outside our room so could hear other guests convos.

What we liked the most was the bedroom.

What we liked the most was the bedroom. It was clean, it had a fabulous mini-kitchen, very confortable bed and sofa, and spacious. The breakfast was enough (coffee, orange juice, cereals, croissants, pan au chocolaite, bread, jam, butter, fruit...) we also enjoyed the bikes for free!!! The bathroom was very clean, we didn’t even notice that it was a shared one.

It was like 12 minutes to the centre by bike, but undoubtedly worth it!

Bikes.

Bikes. The room is big. The staff is realy nice and they are doing everything for your comfort.

Our room had no windows and no proper conditioning, my wife had to open the door during the night so we would have some fresh air.

Generally a good place, lots of free drinks, free bikes,...

Generally a good place, lots of free drinks, free bikes, free pastry for breakfast, free washing machine use, you get a key and can come and go as you please.

Everything was ok, except leaky sink. Host resolved it pretty quickly, but water remained under the floor. Parts and parcels of living in the Netherlands, I guess.

Nice & Cozy & Clean

The place is so clean and furniture and everything it's new. Room was big and it ave kettle inside and kichenette inside and even frige so it's good place for stayin longer. You have coffee machine and all day you can have free coffe! The owners are really nice and helpful :) Also - the place have free bikes! Close to place there is a lot of pub, restaurants and shops. Also - tram to cenrtum. If I will someday back to Amsterdam i would book again this place. :)

Nice find

Very clean and with brilliant transport links,the hosts were very helpful and friendly,we stayed there as it’s central to the centre and Olympic stadium as we were there running the half marathon..highly recommend

What would you highlight about Hondius

very nice b&b in Amsterdam with a great staff

the place is run by a very nice person, located in a quiet location, about 20 min by tram to the city center. there are 6 rooms, sharing 2 WC, and I didn't had to wait even once. Nice breakfast and juice are served in the morning (free of charge),and coffee/tea is 24/7 available. .there is a free bike rental from the place, and also a computer+printer for the guest to use you can also use the washing machine the price is very attractive for what you get

the rooms has no windows so one needs to open the door in order to ventilate the room. breakfast is severed only at about 9:30, and no cold water are offered to drink.
